Privacy Policy
We built Carpet Atelier to be a quiet, respectful experience — and we treat your data the same way.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Carpet Atelier (“we”, “us”, “the App”) collects when you use our mobile application and related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
01 Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you first open the App, we create an anonymous account identified by a randomly generated device identifier (UUID). No name, email, or personal detail is required to play.
- Optional sign-in. If you choose to secure or restore your progress, you may link your account using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or an email address. In that case we store the identifier returned by that provider (and your email, if provided).
- Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep your message and contact address to respond.
Information created through play
- Gameplay data — your in-progress and completed carpets, selected patterns, coin balance, daily streaks, achievements, and tutorial status.
- Preferences — language, audio, and notification settings.
- Purchase records — when you buy coins or a subscription, we receive a transaction identifier and receipt from Apple to validate the purchase and grant your items. We never receive or store your payment card or billing details — those are handled entirely by Apple.
Information collected automatically
- Device & technical data — device model, operating-system version, language/region, and app version.
- Usage & analytics events — anonymous, hashed event data about how the App is used (for example, which weaving phase was started or completed) to help us improve the experience.
- Advertising identifier — if you choose to watch a rewarded video to earn coins, our advertising partner may access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) to serve and measure ads. On iOS this only occurs with your permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Diagnostic data — crash reports and error logs to keep the App stable.
02 How We Use Your Information
- To provide the game — saving and restoring your carpets, progress, coins, and purchases.
- To operate the in-game economy and validate purchases and rewards on our servers.
- To show optional rewarded video advertising to non-subscribers and credit the coins earned.
- To understand and improve gameplay through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
- To diagnose problems, prevent cheating and abuse, and keep accounts secure.
- To send optional notifications you have enabled, and to respond to support requests.
03 Service Providers We Share With
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with trusted providers only so the App can function:

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of our users and service.
04 Advertising & Your Choices
Carpet Atelier shows only opt-in rewarded video ads — there are no banners or forced interstitials, and ads never appear unless you tap to watch one. Subscribers see no ads at all. On iOS you can control ad tracking at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and you can reset your advertising identifier in iOS settings.
05 Children’s Privacy
Carpet Atelier is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
06 Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You are in control:
- Delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Account), which permanently removes your account and associated gameplay data from our servers.
- You may also email privacy@carpetatelier.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
07 Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We honour these requests regardless of your location. To exercise any right, contact privacy@carpetatelier.com.
08 Security & International Transfers
We protect data in transit with encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and restrict access to it. Our servers may be located in countries other than your own; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using commercially reasonable measures.
09 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
