Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully — they govern your use of Carpet Atelier.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Carpet Atelier (“we”, “us”) covering your use of the Carpet Atelier mobile application and related services (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
01 Eligibility & Your Account
- The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are a minor, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
- An anonymous account is created automatically so you can play immediately. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for any account you link via Apple, Google, or email.
02 Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.
03 Virtual Coins
- The App uses coins, a virtual in-game currency used to unlock patterns and content. Coins can be earned through play, daily rewards, optional rewarded videos, or purchased.
- Coins have no monetary value, are not real currency, and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, or sold. They are licensed to you, not owned by you.
- Except where required by law, purchases of coins and other virtual items are final and non-refundable.
- We may, for legitimate reasons, adjust, manage, or discontinue pricing, rewards, and the in-game economy. Coin grants and amounts are determined and validated by our servers.
04 Purchases & Subscriptions
The App offers consumable coin packs and auto-renewable subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we do not handle your payment details.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your App Store account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Subscriber benefits. An active subscription removes advertising, grants periodic coins, and may unlock subscriber-only content for as long as it remains active.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple; refund requests are subject to Apple’s policies.
05 Advertising
Non-subscribers may choose to watch optional rewarded video ads to earn coins. Ads are never forced and never interrupt gameplay. The number of rewarded videos and the coins they grant may be limited and are determined by our servers.
06 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, or tamper with the App, its data, or our servers to gain coins, progress, or content you have not legitimately earned or purchased;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the service;
- attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; or
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
We may investigate and take action — including limiting features or terminating accounts — against conduct that violates these Terms.
07 Intellectual Property
The App and all of its content — including the name “Carpet Atelier”, the logo, artwork, patterns, designs, code, audio, and text — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. The traditional Persian motifs and craft depicted are part of a shared cultural heritage we present with respect; our specific artistic expression of them remains our property. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in our marks or content beyond the licence above.
08 Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that progress and data will never be lost.
09 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, coins, or progress, arising from your use of the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10 Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
11 Apple App Store
These Terms are between you and us only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. You acknowledge that:
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App;
- in the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund any applicable purchase price — to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App;
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product-liability, regulatory, or intellectual-property claims;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you; and
- your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
12 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
13 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
